The Rundown: Two members of the team go on a mission to help a young mutant close to home.
As the X-Men continue to look for ways to both protect new and emerging mutants as well as live with the local community, their presence has attracted protestors from the local town. As Quentin and Idie watch the group, one of them signals to the mutants that she might be one of them. As Beast tells the rest of the group about the growing threat of Cassandra Nova and her group, Idie enlists the help of Magik to help her with the young girl.
Magneto looks to Hank for help with his own issues while the two new mutants they discovered look for a way to make this new place their home. At the same time, Temper and Magik pay the girl a visit and discover that she could have a connection with the recent attacks from a decommissioned sentinel.
The Story: MacKay delivers an entertaining and compelling story in this issue. The plot has some great moments for the characters and I loved the banter between them. There is a fun, lighter energy to this story and I really enjoyed that even a smaller story can have weight given what the characters ae dealing with.
The Art: Diaz delivers some great art throughout the issue and I continue to love the character designs, the visual style and the action.
